About me

Briefly - I am working for Gold Partner as MS Dynamics Ax (formerly MBS Axapta) Consultant. I have been working in Dynamics Ax since 2002.

Recently received Most Valuable Professional award from Microsoft for my contributions to the Microsoft Dynamics Ax community. I am the first person in UK to receive this much coveted award.

Before getting my hands dirty with MS Dynamics Ax, I worked as Application Consultant specialising in Microsoft technologies. Extensively developed Client/Server applications using Visual Basic 5.0/6.0, Component Object Model (COM), XML, Windows 32-bit Application Programming Interface (API) etc and web applications using Active Server Pages (ASP), Internet Information Server (IIS), JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, CSS, VBScript etc.

Apart from development in MS technologies, I have also had my fair share of working in other skills - including SAP and Open technologies. Among them, I would say development of an application integrating SAP using SAP Business Connector was the most challenging. In that particular project, I also used an Open source product called Apache Cocoon. To integrate SAP with Cocoon, I used an open-source library called Web3 from EFP Consulting, Austria. I believe this project was the first attempt of its nature in UK.

In this website, I am just trying to cover the problem areas that I faced while working in MBS Axapta. Also, I am in the process of adding more contents related to Windows, SQL Server etc. So please do not forget to visit again..
